“Contribute to Flag Day fund”

PUDUCHERRY: Lieutenant Governor Mukut Mithi has appealed to the public to make liberal contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.

In a message on the occasion of Flag Day slated for Friday, he said the day signified the obligation of the nation to the Armed Forces. “The fund is primarily channelled for the welfare of service personnel and their families, resettlement of ex-servicemen and their families and to rehabilitate battle casualties,” he said.
