Rao, Chairman, Science Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. Speaking to presspersons on Wednesday, Prof. Rao said that “India has not missed the bus” and could catch up in research and development in nanoscience and technology. While the Rs. 1,000 crore granted by the Centre to the Nano Science and Technology Mission would “provide the necessary impetus to the field,” Prof. Rao said more investments would “help to boost nanoscience and technology in a big way.”
