George Soros buys 5.8 p.c. stake in GAEL

CHENNAI: Gujarat Ambuja Exports Limited (GAEL) is setting up a maize processing facility in Uttaranchal with a capacity of 500 tonnes a day at a cost Rs. 65 crore. The plant is scheduled to go on stream next week, according to a company release. Other upcoming projects of the company include greenfield and brownfield addition of capacities in solvent extraction and edible oil refining.
