Kozhikode beats Wayanand

KOZHIKODE: Host Kozhikode trounced Wayanand by 96 runs to post its second straight win in the North Zone under-13 inter-district cricket championship held here on Wednesday.

The scores: Kozhikode 128 in 34.4 overs (Bharath 35, Adarsh four for 28) bt Wayanad 32 in 20.4 overs (Jigendra Jadhav four for 12, Pranav three for 12); Malappuram 64 in 26.5 overs (Munasar three for 23) lost to Kasaragod 67 for one in 15.5 overs.
