Sanju hits hundred

Kottayam: A fine century by Sanju V. Samson (102) enabled Thiruvananthapuram score a facile 181-run win over Pathanamthitta in the South Zone under-13 inter-district cricket tournament at the University Stadium here on Wednesday.

The scores: Thiruvananthapuram 232 for four in 35 overs (Sanju V. Samson 102) bt Pathanamthitta 51 in 18.2 overs (Abhijith Siva five for 19); Alappuzha 154 for eight in 35 overs (Ashok Chandran 52, N.V. Balu three for 20) bt Kottayam 84 in 26.1 overs (Balu Babu three for 19, Sreejith four for 20).
