Bangalore: Indian skipper Anil Kumble said he wants to end the current Test series against Pakistan on a winning note. “I am looking forward to the final Test against Pakistan. It’s special for me as it is held in my hometown. We want to win the match and take the series 2-0. We want to take that winning momentum to the series against the Aussies,” Kumble said on the sidelines of a function organised by ING Vysya Bank here on Wednesday night. Kumble reiterated that the plan for the third Test against Pakistan would hinge on posting 600 runs and bowling out the opposition. “We did the first half better in Kolkata but failed to pick up six wickets in the Pakistan second innings. I hope we can stick to our plan and get the desired result in Bangalore,” he said. Kumble added the team would tour Australia with the confidence of having done well in the last tour down under. “We did well on the previous tour of Australia in 2003-04. We were 1-0 up before drawing the series and gave a tough time to the Aussies. We do have a lot of confidence and know that we can match the Aussies in every department of the game,” he said.
