KARUR: Collector T. N. Venkatesh has called upon members of the public to contribute liberally towards the Flag Day collections, as that would help ex-servicemen who had braved odds and enemies for the sake of safeguarding the nation. Rather than stopping with mere remembrance on the Flag Day being celebrated on December 7, people could contribute a little more for the cause of the ex-servicemen, he said in a press release issued here.
