GULBARGA: State president of the All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) M.N. Sriram on Wednesday said that the seventh All-India Students’ Convention will be held at Kolkata from January 3 to 5. At a press conference here, he said that the convention would discuss the neglect of education by both the Union and State governments. He wanted Centre to earmark 10 percent of funds and State government 30 per cent of the funds for spending on education. — Staff Correspondent
