TIRUPATI: Velkur Chandrasekhar, a Dalit litterateur of Tirupati, has bagged the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Fellowship Award announced by the Indian Dalit Sahitya Academy for the year 2007. The award will be presented to him by the President of India at the 23rd national seminar to be conducted by the academy in New Delhi on Dec 9 and 10. Mr.Chandrasekhar is working as a drawing teacher in SVU campus school, Tirupati. –Staff Reporter
