Sangareddy: Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao’ son K. Rama Rao, who is said to be aspiring the Siddipet Assembly seat, neither denied nor accepted the news which has been making circles in the party. Mr. Rama Rao, who was here to supervise the installation of Telangana Talli statue near the new Collectorate complex, addressed a press conference at the residence of Member of Legislative Council R. Satyanarayana. Answering a question on his candidature for Siddipet replacing T. Harish Rao, he said that even though he would like to contest in the ensuing elections, the final decision on the place of his contest would be taken by the party. Refusing to spell out an alternative to Siddipet, he said that Mr. Harish Rao has done a good job and the people love him as they loved KCR. Calling upon the youth of Telangana not to fall into the trap laid by Congress, Telugu Desam and the TRS rebels, Mr. Rama Rao questioned the stand of TDP on Telangana. Questioning the rationale behind the TDP differing its decision on separate Statehood till the right time, he wanted to know whether it would be the right time for the people or for the party.
