CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has decided to offer a pre-engineering course (equivalent to 10+2 non-medical of the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) in private engineering colleges from the next academic year, said Haryana Technical Education Department director M. P. Gupta here on Wednesday. He disclosed that all private engineering colleges in the State which had a dedicated infrastructure such as laboratories and classrooms as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) norms and dedicated teachers as per the academic requirements of CBSE and HBSE, would be eligible for the pre-engineering course. Mr. Gupta said the course would be affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Haryana.
