Phase-II of health insurance inaugurated

Kakinada: Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated the second phase of Rajiv Arogya Sri health insurance scheme at the JNTU Engineering College playground here on Wednesday. On the occasion, he said the scheme would be extended to all districts by October 2008 and asserted that the Government would bear any amount of expenditure and overcome all hurdles to its implementation. East Godavari, WG, Nalgonda, Rangareddy and Chittoor are the districts covered under the second phase of Arogya Sri.
Dr. Reddy said white cardholders suffering from various diseases could avail themselves of the treatment offered in corporate hospitals and the entire premium would be paid by State government.
