KOCHI: Emigration officials at the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery detained one person on Wednesday for forging his passport. Baiju, 37, of Kollam, arrived from Sharjah in Air Arabia flight using the passport of one Abdu Rahman of Kannur by substituting his photograph in the original document. He had travelled to Sharjah from Thiruvananthapuram in March 2005 using a visit visa. Baiju was handed over to the Chengamanad police.
