Channel likely to telecast Saibaba programmes

ANANTAPUR: In all probability Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust is likely to enter into an agreement with a Hyderabad-based private spiritual-cum-cultural television channel for airing Sathya Saibaba’s spiritual programmes in Prashanti Nilayam in Puttaparthi. The idea is to ‘take the swamy closer to the devotees worldwide.

The decision was taken after a positive response from different parts of the globe to the programmes in the spiritual township telecast during the recently-concluded 82nd birthday celebrations of Saibaba by the television channel. The television channel was given footage exclusively by the trust on the programmes in Prashanti Nilayam for two days during the fete.
