“Suseendhran’s body not found”

CHENNAI: The Malaysian High Commission has informed the Tamil Nadu Government that the body of S. Suseendhran – he was allegedly murdered in Kuala Lumpur and his body kept in a mortuary there for about 10 months – had not been found in any hospital in Kuala Lumpur, and that no such case had been registered in Malaysia.

According to an official press release, the information was received through two letters received from Malaysia on September 5 and 26. However, the State Government continued its efforts on the basis of the documents furnished by Suseendhran’s parents, the release said.

When the Madras High Court initiated suo motu contempt proceedings in the matter on December 4, the Government explained all the steps taken by it and submitted all relevant documents to the court. — Special Correspondent
