Nigerian held with heroin

NEW DELHI: A Nigerian national has been arrested at the Kashmere Gate Inter-State Bus Terminus here by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of drug peddling. The agency claims to have seized 4 kg of Afghan heroin from him.

The accused, identified as Nnadi K. Iheanyi, was arrested on Wednesday morning. During interrogation, he allegedly disclosed that he came to India about 18 months ago and had been living with other Nigerians at different places in Delhi. He was presently living in Rohini. The NCB is trying to trace the person from whom the accused had procured the stuff.
