Women activists detained

NEW DELHI: All-India Democratic Women’s Association activists protesting against the delay in listing the Women’s Reservation Bill in the current session of Parliament were detained by the police on Wednesday.

While some of the activists tried to barge into Parliament from Gate No. 2, others were detained near Yojna Bhavan and Rail Bhavan. They were later released, the police said.
