Tents tell a tale

Manappattiparambu grounds at Kaloor has seen its share of circus tents. Now, it is home to a different kind of tents.

Migrant labourers have pitched small tents here. The ground is a scene of poverty amidst plenty. The authorities have started evicting the settlers there. In all likelihood, the makeshift tents will soon appear in some other corner of the city.
