Bill collector robbed

Bangalore: An armed gang attacked a bill collector of a private agency with clubs and swords and robbed him of a bag containing Rs. 2.50 lakh cash in Madivala police station limits on Tuesday evening. The police said that M. Raja, working with a private company in Mittal Towers on Mahatma Gandhi Road, was riding his motorcycle to collect money from customers at Vishwapriya Layout on Hosur Road when the incident took place. An injured Mr. Raja has been admitted to a hospital.
