Appointment orders for 18

TIRUVANNAMALAI: Food Minister E.V. Velu handed over appointment orders to 18 persons posted as assistants in the Tiruvannamalai District Central Cooperative (TDCC) Bank at a function here on Thursday.

Mr. Velu said that in the last one-and-a-half years, the government had appointed 31 persons on compassionate grounds in the Department of Cooperation. Besides, 18 persons were appointed through the District Employment Offices, and 11 were appointed in the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Banks. The 18 persons who were given orders on Thursday were appointed on merit, he added.
