Applications invited

CHENNAI: The State Transport Authority (STA) has invited applications from transport operators for obtaining ‘counter-signature of permits’ to ply their vehicles in Karnataka.

An STA release said its Karnataka counterpart had sent a list of 279 vacancies in the quota that arose owing to non-renewal and surrender of counter-signature permits of Tamil Nadu-based goods carriages.

Application forms can be obtained from the office of State Transport Authority/Transport Commissioner, Chennai, or downloaded from: www.tn.gov.in/sta.
