Ritual performed

Udupi: The Puttige Math performed the “Chapara Muhurta” at Rajangana here on Thursday. It is the last preliminary to the next Paryaya festival. The rituals were performed by the chief priest Gopalakrishna Samaga in front of the Gita Mandira. General Secretary of the Paryaya Reception Committee Heranje Krishna Bhat, scholar P. Sripati Tantri, President of Malpe Fishermen’s Association Keshav Kotian, trustee of Udupi Consumers’ Forum A.P. Kodancha, and others were present on the occasion.
