BANGALORE: The top seed Uttara Prakash bagged the girls’ under-16 singles in the Bowring Insitute State junior ranking badminton championship ending the good run of Reshma Karthik in the final here on Thursday. Uttara, who was rocked by Reshma in the first game, rallied to prevail at 19-21, 21-12, 21-14. The girls’ under-10 singles final also provide an exicitng fare with Mahima Agrawal beating Deepali Karumbaiah 19-21, 21-10, 2-19. The results: Boys: Under-10: singles: semifinals: Mithun Manjunath bt Syed Sadat Ali 21-6,21-9; Abhishek bt Nirmit Kaushik 21-18, 22-24, 22-20. Under-13: singles: semifinals: M.C.
