Need for effective teachers stressed

MAHABUBNAGAR: Nation needs more effective teachers now, said Commissioner for Collegiate Education K.Laxmi Narayana. Participating as chief guest in the two-day work shop on strengthening of district resource centres and enhancing quality of teaching and learning practices, on Thursday, he said that the ultimate good of education was to see that development reached the marginalised sections of the society. Noted industrialists Dr. MSN Reddy (Dr.Reddy Labs) an alumunus of the college stressed the need for linkage between industries and academic institutions. Collector V.Usharani suggested the teachers and students be exposed to the latest trends in the changing global scenario. The workshop was organised by Commissioner of Collegiate Education QAC A.P. and DRC of MVS Government Degree College, here.
