Naidu seeks train halt at Chittoor

HYDERABAD: Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday wrote to Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav asking for halts to be provided at Chittoor, through which seven newly-introduced express trains pass.

The TDP leader listed out the following trains: No. 2626/2625 Trivandrum-New Delhi, 2845/2846 Yeshwantpur-Bhubanes- war, 2660/2659 Shalimar (Kolkata)-Nagarcoil, 2646/2645 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam, 2644/2643 Nizamuddin-Trivandrum, 6688/6687 Jammu Tawi-Mangalore/Madurai and 6318/6317 Jammu Tawi-Madurai/Kanyakumari.
