In all, the bank has been able to attract Rs. 3.63 lakh worth deposit under the scheme. As per the scheme, the bank aims at identifying charitable institutions across the country for rendering financial assistance to the underprivileged. As part of a corporate social responsibility, the bank donated Rs. 50,000 each to Seva Bharati and Abhaya Ashraya of Mangalore on Thursday.
