Applications for electoral enrolment

Available in colleges in Tiruvottiyur, Villivakkam constituencies

TIRUVALLUR: Sufficient application forms have been made available with Principals of colleges located in Tiruvottiyur and Villivakkam Assembly constituencies to help students get their names enrolled in the photo electoral rolls.

The Collector, Dr. Rajendrakumar, in a release, said that students who would be completing or had completed 18 years of age as on January 01, 2008 could apply for enrolment of their names in the electoral roll by submitting form-6 and form-001A, which were made available with the Principals.

Meanwhile, draft electoral rolls for the two constituencies were published on November 26 for verification by voters. Objections or claims for inclusion or deletion or modification can be submitted to the designated officers of respective polling stations on or before December 11, the release added.
