Elephants stray into Jigani

A herd of 20 elephants along with some calves were found grazing near a bamboo grove near Jigani in Anekal taluk on Thursday. The elephants came to the bamboo shade off Jigani-Huduganadoddi Road in the morning after passing through several agricultural fields from Anekal. The herd stayed at the bamboo shade which had a water hole. They did not move as the villagers and passers-by surrounded the bamboo grove.
