Lorry rams nine vehicles

Kochi: Nine vehicles were damaged when a lorry carrying rice rammed them as they were waiting at the signal point at Palarivattom on the National Highway bypass on Thursday.

No one was injured in the accident.

The traffic police (east) have booked the driver of the lorry.

A man was found dead inside a drainage running along Grameena Library, Chalikkavattom. The Palarivattom police identified him as Vavachan, 60, of Mannarakara Road, Ponnurunni. He was a casual labourer.
