DCC training camp begins today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 500 delegates are expected to participate in the leadership training camp to be organised by the District Congress Committee (DCC) here from December 8 to 10.

DCC president V.S. Sivakumar said here on Thursday that Mandalam and block presidents, DCC and KPCC members, leaders of feeder organisations and members of local bodies would attend the camp. KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala would inaugurate the camp.

Union Ministers Vayalar Ravi and Oscar Fernandez, Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy, and UDF convener P.P. Thankachan would participate. Prominent personalities would handle classes on various topics.

A cultural meeting has been organised on December 9.
