Citizen information centre opened

PUDUCHERRY: A Citizen Information Centre constructed under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and International Exhibition Logistics Associates (IELA) Tsunami Rehabilitation Project was inaugurated on Thursday at MGR Thittu in Cuddalore district.

According to a release, the centre, constructed at a cost of Rs. 12.5 lakh, would be utilised by the residents of the village for various purposes including the conduct of coaching classes for schoolchildren, panchayat meetings, training programmes for self-help group members and social programmes.
