One more person held

PUDUCHERRY: Police on Friday arrested Sathish, a member of the gang which lobbed a crude device at the residence of a political activist at Vanarapet on December 1.

A resident of Vanarapet, Sathish was riding a two-wheeler on which the assailants set out to hurl the country bomb.

Another accused in the case, Kamal, who attempted to commit suicide fearing arrest, succumbed to injuries on Friday, police added.
