Three-wicket win for MCC

Udhagamandalam: Mechanics Cricket Club posted a three-wicket win over Cordite Factory SC in the Canara Bank-NDCA ‘B’ division league for the A.R. Rajoo Gowder Memorial Rolling Trophy at the Lawrence Grounds here on Friday.

The scores: Cordite Factory SC 92 (S. Suresh four for 25) lost to Mechanics CC 93 for seven in 26.5 overs (A.A. Sivakumar four for 18).

Athletics meet

At Coimbatore, the Coimbatore District Masters Athletics Association will conduct its annual district masters meet at the Government Polytechnic College grounds on December 30.
