New Delhi Heroes posts win

NEW DELHI: New Delhi Heroes and Shastri Club scored victories in the ONGC-SAIL Delhi Soccer Association senior division league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Friday.

In Group ‘B,’ New Delhi Heroes beat Youngmen SC 3-0 for its second straight win.

There was no scoring till the interval after which Nigerian Bab Tunde and former international Harvinder Singh (2) scored for ND Heroes.

In Group ‘A,’ Shastri Club recorded a 1-0 win over Shahdara FC.

Both teams have three points each after two matches.

Raju Majhi scored the match-winner for Shastri Club in the fifth minute off a pass from Sanjay Paul.
