Chapra: Over 60 students of a government school in Bihar’s Saran district fell ill on Thursday after consuming food given to them under the mid-day meal scheme, official sources said. While 15 students were admitted to a government hospital here, the rest were being treated at private nursing homes in the town, District Magistrate Prabhat Kumar Shah said. Mr. Shah told reporters here that he had instructed the deputy development commissioner (DDC) to oversee the treatment being provided to the children.
