NEW DELHI: The Joint Action Committee of Delhi University’s Dyal Singh College met Vice-Chancellor Deepak Pental on Friday to protest against the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s proposed move to acquire a part of the college land.

“Prof. Pental assured the delegation that no college land would be acquired and promised to present our case before the DMRC officials,” claimed Sachin, a faculty member and convenor of the committee comprising representatives of unions of teachers, students and non-teaching staff.
