Short circuit hits houses, one killed

SANGAREDDY: Twenty-year-old Parvathi was electrocuted while taking bath in her home in Dapoor village of Nyalkal mandal on Friday morning. Parvathi’s home is one among many other houses in the village that was affected by short circuit.
People who were terrified by the sudden burst of electricity through the gadgets left their homes, switched off the near by transformer. Parvathi who recently delivered a baby was trying to hang her cloths on a wire in the bathroom when she came into contact with the power passing through it. Her mother who heard her cries tried to protect her but she also received burns on her hands.
