Choir festival

Bangalore: Christmas may still be a few weeks away, but its spirit has caught on with the Christ College Choir. The choir, in association with Radio Indigo, will present a choir festival they have called “Magnificat: A Song of Hope”, over the weekend.
Magnificat was held successfully last year, and this year, it promises to be bigger, better, and with a “distinctly international flavour.”
The performance schedule will be as follows: on Saturday, an inaugural song by the 80-voice Christ choir, the Jyoti Nivas college choir and “Brood” will be followed by Octet Cantabile and Merry An singers. On Sunday, you can catch Benny Prasad’s performance. The festival will be held on December 8 and 9, at 5 p.m., at the Christ College.
