Rs. 3.5 lakh, jewellery, cell phones stolen

NAMAKKAL: Unidentified persons had stolen 13 sovereigns of jewellery, Rs. 3.5 lakh and valuables from a house here on Friday night. Police said Tamil Nadu State Lorry Owners Federation president P. Sengodan and his family members were sleeping, when the persons gained entry by breaking the window grills. They broke open the bureau and had stolen jewellery, cash and cell phones.
