ARIYALUR: Collector V.M. Xavier Chrisso Nayagam on Saturday distributed Rs.2,000 cash, a dhoti and sari, five kg of rice and a litre of kerosene to four families whose houses were gutted in a fire accident on Friday at Kuruvadi. He visited the families and handed over the compensation and relief material. MLA Palai Amaramurthi, Tirumanoor panchayat union chairman Natarajan and panchayat president Veera Ravi accompanied him.
