Efforts of training institute lauded

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: The Central Electricity Authority has awarded first grade to the Officers’ Training Institute of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam for two years while praising its arrangements for training officers and engineers through an experienced faculty.

Nigam Chairman and Managing Director Shrimat Pandey said here over the weekend that the institute, imparting training to officers of all the power distribution companies in the State, was inspected by the CEA’s Chief Engineer (Human Resource Development) recently. The facilities at the institute were found to be of a “very high standard”.

Mr. Pandey said the CEA had suggested that the institute’s network be extended to provide practical training in various technical fields.

The institute could also conduct special awareness programmes on disaster management, prevention of accidents and giving first aid.
