MoU signed with U.P. for raw water

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Government has signed a long-awaited memorandum of understanding with Uttar Pradesh for supply of raw water to its Bhagirathi water treatment plant. With the MoU, Delhi now has got a legal cover to the existing arrangement. The signing had been getting deferred since 1983.
