Kanpur: The Uttar Pradesh Government has given a compensation of Rs 5,000 to the school children, who had fainted due to dehydration while waiting for the arrival of SP leaders Amar Singh and Jayaprada during a programme organised by the party. “According to the records of Ursala hospital 48 students from 15 schools were admitted,” DM Alok Kumar said adding “the students have been given a cheque of Rs 5,000 each through their schools.”
