Five senior IPS officers shifted

Lucknow: In a minor reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government transferred five senior IPS officers. A home department release on Saturday said that last night transfer orders were issued to Ajay Anand, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Saharanpur, who has been sent to Bareilly on the same post replacing K Satyanarayan, who has been shifted to Gorakhpur on the same post. Vijay Prakash, Commandant Ninth Battalion, PAC Moradabad has been appointed SSP, Saharanpur and Rajesh Kumar Rai, SSP Gorakhpur has been appointed Commandant 9th Battalion PAC, Moradabad.

M K Bashal, DIG PAC, Headquarter, has been appointed DIG, Devipatna range.
