‘Modi will be taught a fitting lesson’

TIRUMALA: Union Minister for Railways Lalu Prasad on Saturday said that the people of Gujarat shall teach a fitting lesson to both the BJP and the Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the ensuing elections.

Talking to media persons, he said that the people of Gujarat have grown critical of his fundamentalist attitude. He said that gone are those days when the political parties strived on the religious sentiments of the people to come to power.

The Railway Minister, who reached the temple town late on Saturday evening along with his wife Rabri Devi and other family members, will stay overnight at Tirumala and are expected to offer prayers at the hill temple in the wee hours of Sunday. Union Minister of State for Railways R. Velu also accompanied him.
