HYDERABAD: The Lok Satta Party has demanded that the State Government request the High Court for constitution of a special court to inquire into allegations on amassing wealth made against one another by Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu. Submit proofsThe Government should admit the allegations as the first information report and the two leaders should submit proofs of their allegations to the special court that should be headed by a special prosecutor with expertise in legal matters and impeccable track record. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Dr. Jayaprakash wondered as to how the two leaders were maintaining silence after levelling series of allegations on one another. He expressed concern that despite the legislations put in place, a majority of the legislators including Ministers did not submit the documents pertaining to their assets and liabilities to the Speaker. As many as 211 MLAs did not submit asset details at least once while seven including the Speaker, Mr. Naidu, Minister N. Rajyalakshmi and senior TDP leaders T. Devender Goud, Ch. Rajeswar Rao and Y. Ramakrishnudu submitted their papers all the four years. Lok Satta will organise a meeting marking the International Anti-Corruption Day here on Sunday.
