‘Cold favours wheat’

Chandigarh: The cold weather conditions would favourably impact the growth of wheat and vegetables crops such as tomatoes, potatoes and chillies, agriculture experts have said. “The sudden fall in temperature would help wheat, besides being beneficial for the vegetables,” said a scientist of PAU.
