Two Sri Lankan women escape

RAMANATHAPURAM: Two Sri Lankan women, who landed at Vedhalai near Mandapam, escaped on Saturday.

Sources said a group of four Sri Lankans reached Vedhalai in the wee hours. While Thangaraj and Yogaraj of Vavuniya reported to authorities, the two women did not turn up. One more Sri Lankan refugee reached Vedhalai by another boat. — Staff Reporter
