Modi should apologise: Tulsi

Attari (Amritsar): Senior Supreme Court advocate K.T.S Tulsi, who had threatened to withdraw as Gujarat government counsel in the Sohrabuddin case, said on Saturday that Chief Minister Narendra Modi should apologise for his recent controversial remarks on the fake encounter.

Mr. Tulsi repeated his advice to Mr. Modi even as the Gujarat government engaged senior advocate Ranjit Kumar on Friday for its defence in the fake encounter case.

He said he was not keen to fight the Gujarat government’s case in the apex court unless the Chief Minister made amends by tendering an apology. — PTI
