Notorious criminal arrested

NEW DELHI: A man described by the police as a notorious criminal involved in over a dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder and dacoity has been arrested at Najafgarh here.

According to the police, Vikram alias Babloo tried to flee when he was intercepted by a police patrolling team on Thursday afternoon. The police gave him a chase and arrested him. A country-made pistol and some live cartridges have allegedly been recovered from his possession. The police said that Vikram was involved in several cases of murder, attempt to murder, dacoity and robbery in the Capital and adjoining areas.
